Gautam Adani faces bribery charge from US prosecutors. The bribery controversy seems to have cast a shadow upon the Adani Group. It has dented investor confidence in one of India’s biggest business empires. It has led to Adani’s net worth falling by $12 billion in a single day. The amount is equivalent to Rs 2 lakh crore. Adani’s wealth which stood at $69.8 billon has now fallen to $58.5 billion. It moves him down from 22nd to 25th on Forbes Billionaires list.
