Mehul Choksi, an Indian businessman wanted for large-scale fraud, has reportedly obtained an ‘F Residency Card’ in Belgium and is residing in Antwerp with his wife, Preeti Choksi. This residency, reportedly acquired on November 15, 2023, is suspected to have been secured through falsified documentation, potentially aided by his wife’s Belgian citizenship. Associates Times reports his current location. He is now also reportedly planning a move to Switzerland, claiming he requires medical treatment at Hirslanden Klinik Aarau, suggesting a possible attempt to further evade extradition. Choksi fled India in January 2018 after the PNB fraud case surfaced.
