Deputy Secretary Christopher Landau will lead the U.S. Presidential Delegation to the May 8 inauguration of President-elect Laura Fernández in San José, Costa Rica.  During his visit, the Deputy Secretary will meet with President-elect Fernández and senior Costa Rican officials to maintain the strong U.S.-Costa Rica relationship and lay the foundation for progress on shared priorities with the incoming Costa Rican government, including strengthening our security partnership and expanding commercial ties to attract U.S. investment.
