The Singapore Police Force has said that it may lift orders barring the sale of shophouses linked to the money laundering probe, if the sale is conducted fairly. The suspects had earlier used those properties as collateral to secure loans from DBS Bank. At least 10 of the shophouses were listed on the market since December last year.
DBS hopes to sell the properties to recover its money.
