Officials from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission EACC have arrested three traffic Police officers stationed at the Globe Cinema roundabout in Nairobi for collecting bribes from motorists. According EACC, the officers, Oscar Serem Biwott, Simon Kiplagat and Edwin Benedict had managed to collect a total of 48,250 shillings in two hours from the PSV drivers and motorcyclists. The sting operation conducted by the sleuths led to the recovery of the said proceeds and the three police officers from the Central Police Station were apprehended and taken to the integrity centre where they recorded their statements.
