Unitech founder, Ramesh Chandra and promoter Sanjay Chandra’s wife Preeti Chandra, have been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a case of money laundering. Sanjay Chandra’s father has also been arrested. Sanjay Chnadra and his brother were recently shifted from Delhi’s Tihar jail to Mumbai prison on the directions of the Supreme Court. This happened after the allegations that the Chandra brothers were operating from the Tihar jail. The arrested will be produced before the court on Tuesday. Preeti Chandra has been accused of being an active part of money laundering and stashing money abroad.
