Top News | Congress leader Rahul Gandhi responded to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s assertion on Sunday that he was terrified of him by stating that the former was worried about his purported corruption coming to light. Rahul retaliated to the BJP leader by saying, “He is acting afraid, which is why he is saying these things. He fears that his impropriety may be exposed.” The Chief Minister of Assam stated that he would be assigning all of the recently hired commandos to the region that Rahul’s “Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra” will pass through on Monday. He also mentioned that Muslim women would not participate in the yatra because their government had put in place several development programmes for them.
