The protesting wrestlers have dismissed media reports that suggested the wrestlers have withdrawn from protest after meeting with Unipn home minister Amit Shah. “Fight will continue,” wrestlers said after returning back to their railway jobs.
Earlier today, the Bharatiya Kisan Union said they have postponed their plan to protest at Jantar Mantar on June 9 against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.
Sakshee Malikkh, Vinesh Phogat, and Bajrang Punia are leading the agitation against former WFI Chief and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who is accused of sexual abuse by 7 women. Delhi police is probing Singh in relation to 2 FIRs filed by wrestlers.
There were also media reports that suggested an SIT has questioned kins and staffs of Singh in Lucknow and Gonda.
