Judge Bev Cannone is tired of what seems to be improper federal interference in a murder trial in her court. The power and arrogance of the feds has become a threat to justice in the #KarenRead case…and to all of our liberty.
Amazingly, 1 week before the trial begins, she has set a hearing for Tuesday at 2 to hear from the lawyers of the Boston Globe, who are demanding that the parts of the federal documents which reveal how this began be made public. That the judge scheduled a public hearing on this before the trial is stunning. Will the feds send someone? Or will they continue to arrogantly hide out?
This will be a first gong in the defense of justice and civil liberty.
