The liquor gate controversy, which has been a major talking point in recent months, involves more than just Delhi. The Enforcement Directorate’s investigation has revealed that Kavita, along with top Aam Aadmi Party leaders including Kejriwal and Sisodiya, were allegedly involved in a criminal conspiracy. It is suggested that Kavita played an active role in formulating the excise policy in Delhi and that Savitha paid approximately 100 crore rupees to Aam Aadmi Party leaders in exchange for favours. The agency has indicated that there was illegal funding and kickbacks from wholesalers, leading to allegations of active corruption and conspiracy.
