Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday, was produced before a special PMLA court in Delhi by the probe agency today, where the Enforcement Directorate sought his 10-day custody. The Aam Aadmi Party convenor was arrested in connection with the money laundering case linked to alleged irregularities in the scrapped Delhi excise policy 2021-22. Meanwhile, his party leaders alleged a controversy by the BJP and said they feared for Arvind Kejriwal’s safety in the Enforcement Directorate custody. Several AAP leaders were detained as they protested Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest, also leading to traffic jams in the national capital.
