ESG performance and risk management software provider Sphera recently announced it had acquired SupplyShift, a pioneer in supply chain sustainability software. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Santa Cruz, Calif., SupplyShift has a supply chain network of more than 100,000 suppliers, providing supply chain transparency and supplier mapping as well as data analytics, supplier scoring and traceability.
Reed Smith LLP and Simpson Thatcher & Bartlett LLP served as legal advisers to Sphera and its parent company Blackstone, while Evercore and Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. served as the financial advisers. For SupplyShift, VLP Law Group served as the legal adviser and Houlihan Lokey served as the financial adviser.
