Webinar: Understanding credit reports and scores (library resources) — consumerfinance.gov

0

This webinar provides a quick overview of how lenders use credit scores to assess creditworthiness, how to obtain credit reports and how to build a strong credit history. The Library Resources webinar series is designed to familiarize library staff with information and resources they can use to help patrons who have questions about credit reports, credit scores and other financial topics.

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) supports librarians by providing free publications, access to online financial education tools, program ideas, outreach materials, a partnership guidebook, and training webinars, like this one, so they can guide patrons to unbiased informational resources.

You do not need to be a financial expert in order to share recommendations on trusted resources or provide handouts and other printed materials in your library. For more information, please visit: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/practitioner-resources/library-resources/

This webinar was recorded in October 2020.
