Chicago IL: July 9 2022 – 1:40 PM -Before you comment about this video, I strongly to pay full attention to this video! I was heading westbound on W Foster Ave preparing to turn right to enter the Edens Expressway westbound. A Silver Toyota Prius, a White BMW 3 Series, and I were all turning right in the same direction. Suddenly, the Silver Toyota Prius abruptly stops mid-turn to the on ramp, causing the BMW 3 Series to almost rear end the Prius so he had to brake. I did brake late as I did not expect the Prius to stop on the ramp, therefore the Pre Collision System kicked in to automatically bring it to a halt to prevent an accident which it was reduced to a bump. If it weren’t for the Pre Collision, a chain reaction would have ensued of all three of us involved. I suspected it was an act of insurance fraud as the Prius suddenly stopped on the ramp on a green light. He was originally trying to attempt it to the BMW 3 Series which it didn’t work so he waits for me to rear end the BMW. Both the BMW 3 Series and my car had no damages so we continued off to expressway as usual.
