$16.5 trillion and $165,000 for you
In this video, we are discussing the details of a couple new reports that were just released showing the United States and American consumers have now accumulated $16.5 trillion of consumer debt in this country. This equates to $165,000 of consumer debt per household in the United States. This includes auto loans, mortgages, credit card debt, student loans, and any other debts that the American people have accumulated. This is a massive number and a record number of consumer debt here in the United States across all Americans. The report goes on to show that the average household has $17,000 of credit card debt, $222,000 in mortgages, $29,000 in auto loans and a significant amount in student loans. This is across the average household here in the United States, which is why I want to bring this to your attention because this is a major concern for many Americans and household. Of course as we get further details on any new information coming out of Congress, the administration or any other details on money, benefits, stimulus, stimulus checks, fourth stimulus check or stimulus package update, we will bring it to your attention.
