WHY THIS SHARK TANK COMPANY IS RETURNING CHEQUES TO JUDGES?? #informative #business #marketing

P-TAL, a startup from the show Shark Tank India, specializes in making traditional brass, copper, and kansa items, tapping into the ancient craft of the Thathera community in Punjab.

Founded by Aditya Agarwal, Kirti Goel, and Gaurav Garg in 2019 as a college project, P-TAL aimed to improve the lives of local artisans. Before the company started, these artisans earned just 2,000 rupees a month. Thanks to P-TAL, they now earn between 25,000 to 1,00,000 rupees monthly.

The company’s success was evident with their sales soaring to nearly 4 crores in a few years. On Shark Tank India, P-TAL impressed all five judges and received investment offers based on a valuation of over 31 crores.

However, after discussing it with their artisans, who showed immense happiness and gratitude for being recognized nationally, P-TAL decided to return the investment money to the judges.

This decision was driven by the joy and emotional connection they felt with their artisans rather than financial gain. To express their gratitude, P-TAL sent the judges cheques filled with messages of love, respect, and blessings, instead of money.

They shared this beautiful moment in a video on Instagram, highlighting the artisans’ happiness and the community’s upliftment.
