A court in Vietnam has sentenced a real estate tycoon to death over the country’s biggest ever case of financial fraud.
Sixty-seven-year-old Truong My Lan had pleaded not guilty to billions of dollars in embezzlement and bribery charges and has vowed to appeal against the sentence.
