Trump Deletes Federal Police Misconduct Database on Day One

🚨 On Day One, Trump wiped out police accountability.

Donald Trump deleted the first-ever database tracking federal police misconduct, immediately rescinding Biden’s executive order that created it—a direct response to George Floyd’s murder by Derek Chauvin.

💥 What did Biden’s order do?

Created a police misconduct database to stop “wandering officers” (cops fired for misconduct who just move to another department).
Banned chokeholds and carotid restraints.
Set clear use-of-force standards.
Developed anti-bias training.
The database worked too well:

From 2018 to 2023, it recorded 4,790 misconduct incidents.
Nearly 1,500 federal officers were suspended, fired, or resigned while under investigation.
Over 300 officers were convicted of crimes.
⚖️ Trump’s excuse?
His administration claimed Biden’s order made it “harder for law enforcement to fight crime and keep communities safe.” Translation? It made it harder for abusive cops to operate unchecked.

💡 Let’s be real—this isn’t about “safety.” It’s about giving police free rein to abuse Black and Brown communities, just like they always have.

Biden’s attempt at accountability? Too much for MAGA.
