Singapore will expedite Indonesia’s extradition request for wanted businessman: Shanmugam

Singapore is fully committed to facilitating Indonesia’s first extradition request for a businessman. Paulus Tannos is suspected to have been involved in a graft scandal that led to state losses of over US$140 million. He has been in police custody since Jan 17, after being remanded without bail. Law and Home Affairs Minister K Shanmugam has assured that Singapore will expedite the process, following an extradition treaty between the two countries that came into effect March last year.
