Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan today on the margins of the NATO Foreign Ministers Meeting. Secretary Rubio and Foreign Minister Fidan discussed the upcoming NATO Summit in Ankara and the importance of increasing defense spending to enhance capabilities and expand defense production. They also spoke about opening the Strait of Hormuz and regional stability.
