Secretary Rubio underscored the importance of the U.S.-Sweden partnership in advancing shared interests and Sweden’s crucial role in NATO security, especially in the Arctic and the Baltic Sea. Secretary Rubio and Foreign Minister Stenergard reaffirmed the need to end the war against Ukraine, and achieve a just and lasting peace. They also agreed to deepen economic cooperation to benefit the American and Swedish people.
