Secretary Rubio’s Call with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud

Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke today with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.

The Secretary and the Foreign Minister discussed regional security matters, including efforts to end the violence in Syria. The two also discussed the pursuit of diplomacy with Iran and U.S.-Saudi cooperation to ensure Red Sea security and to stop the fighting in Sudan.

Secretary Rubio also discussed ongoing cooperation to strengthen the U.S.-Saudi relationship.
