Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke today with Ecuadorian Foreign Minister Gabriela Sommerfeld to discuss shared efforts to curb illegal mass immigration and combat transnational crime in our region. The Secretary commended the Noboa Administration for its successful capture of notorious narcotrafficker José Adolfo Macías Villamar (alias Fito) and highlighted our partnership in promoting security throughout our hemisphere.
