Secretary of State Marco A. Rubio spoke today with Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Secretary Rubio and the Crown Prince discussed strengthening bilateral economic and security ties and the strategic partnership between the United States and Bahrain. The Secretary expressed a desire to bring further prosperity to both countries. The Secretary and Crown Prince also discussed the historic opportunity for durable peace and stability across the Middle East and their shared support for regional security.
