President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Monday to pause the enforcement of the Foreign Corruption Practices Act, a nearly 50-year-old law that prohibits U.S. companies from bribing government officials. While signing the executive order, Trump claimed that “nobody wants to do business” with the United States because of these laws.
