President Tinubu underscored the ongoing reforms and advancements within Nigeria’s economy, assuring investors of the government’s dedication to facilitating legitimate business ventures and eliminating barriers to progress.
In a stern warning against corruption, President Tinubu urged Qatari investors to report any instances of bribery or corruption involving government officials. He emphasised the importance of transparency and accountability, offering direct access to the President’s Office for swift action against such malpractices.
Mohammed Al-Thani, Qatar’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, expressed Qatar’s keen interest in investing in low-carbon initiatives, mineral products, petroleum chemicals, and other sectors. He highlighted the potential for collaboration with Nigerian counterparts to achieve mutual objectives and leverage Nigeria’s vast market opportunities.
