Families of the Nottingham murder victims will meet the Attorney General as she reviews the case over accusations that the killer’s sentence was too lenient. This comes after officers shared “crude and distasteful” WhatsApp messages about the attacks.

Former Metropolitan Police detective Peter Bleksley’s son was at the same nightclub as the victims on the night of the Nottingham attack. Peter says ‘The bad apples analogy now is laughable, we’re talking rotten orchards.’
