Former Minister Pandurang Madkaikar has recorded his statement before the Anti Corruption Branch (ACB) in which he has stated that due to some misunderstanding on his part he made the statement before the media that he had to pay bribe to a Minister. He has further clarified that he has not paid any bribe to anybody. Accepting the statement of the Pandurang Madkaikar, ACB has closed the inquiry into the matter.
