NEVER, and I mean EVER, hand your footage over to the police unless your lawyer tells you to. Always send the video to the Cloud, to a very trusted person like your lawyer or spouse, or straight to the Internet. Police are notorious for hiding their mistakes, and they will try to charge you if you have footage of them don’t something shady.
