The national testing agency that conducts NEET the mandatory entrance test for medical admission has come under severe criticism after it awarded grace marks for loss of time and wrong answers students chose based on wrong information in old NCERT books.
An unprecedented 67 students have secured full 720 marks and 6 of them from one single centre in Haryana. Many students and parents allege a scam to favour one set of students from a particular coaching centre. NTA has denied allegations. It cites a court order and normalisation norms.
