National Herald Case | Waqf Act Hearing In Supreme Court | #therightstand with Anand Narasimhan

The Enforcement Directorate’s chargesheet against Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case has snowballed into a controversy, with Congress calling it an example of “vendetta” politics while the ruling BJP asserted that no one has a “license to loot”.

The Supreme Court has proposed that a law be passed so that properties declared as Waqf including ‘waqf by user’ will not de-notified. The apex court also asked Centre whether Muslims would be allowed to be part of Hindu religious trusts
