Officers in West Palm Beach, Florida, responded to a city center pharmacy regarding a female attempting to fill a fraudulent prescription script. The pharmacy reported that the suspect presented a script that appeared to be fraudulent upon closer examination of the handwriting. They also noticed that the numbers had been written over. Following their contact with the doctor whose name appeared on the prescription, she informed the pharmacist that she had not issued the script and that the suspect was not one of her patients. After another conversation with the suspect, the pharmacy contacted the police.
