திருட்டு பைக்கில் போலீஸ் என ஸ்டிக்கர் ஓட்டி பலரிடம் பணம் பறித்த திருடனை போலீசார் கைது செய்துள்ளனர். புதுச்சேரி கனகசெட்டிகுளம் பகுதியில் உள்ள தனியார் மருத்துவமனையில் பணிபுரியும் வேலு என்பவரின் இருசக்கர வாகனத்தை மர்ம நபர் ஒருவர் திருடி சென்றுள்ளார். இதையடுத்து சிசிடிவி காட்சிகளை ஆய்வு செய்த போலீசார் சிவராமன் என்பவரை பெங்களூருவில் வைத்து கைது செய்தனர். விசாரணையில் திருட்டு வண்டியில் போலீஸ் என ஸ்டிக்கர் ஒட்டி திண்டிவனம் உள்ளிட்ட சில பகுதியில் தனிமையில் உள்ள காதல் ஜோடிகளை மிரட்டி நகை மற்றும் பணம் பறிப்பில் ஈடுப்பட்டது தெரியவந்துள்ளது.
