LIVE COURT CAM: Day 7 | Beckley, WV – Defendant Natalie Cochran told the court she will testify after the jury hears from more defense witnesses. The former pharmacist was found guilty of running a multi-million dollar Ponzi scheme. Now, she’s on trial for allegedly murdering her husband of 19 years, Michael Cochran, by poisoning him.

At the time of Michael’s death, Natalie was running a Ponzi scheme that defrauded investors, including Michael’s parents, out of millions of dollars. She pleaded guilty in 2021 to federal wire fraud and other charges and was sentenced to 135 months in prison.
