Kuwait National Day – United States Department of State

On behalf of the United States of America, I congratulate His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah and the Kuwaiti people as they celebrate National Day and Liberation Day.

For decades, Kuwait has been an indispensable partner in promoting regional security and stability across the Middle East. We appreciate Kuwait’s commitment to regional stability and consistent humanitarian assistance for those affected by crisis, including the Amir’s historic decision to join the Board of Peace and his generous pledge of support for the reconstruction of Gaza. The United States looks forward to further strengthening U.S.-Kuwait ties across all areas of cooperation and to expanding trade and investment for the mutual benefit of both our nations.

As Kuwait celebrates this important milestone, the United States reaffirms its commitment to our enduring friendship and strategic partnership.
