The Kalyan-Dombivli RERA scam has put 6,500 residents at risk as KDMC begins issuing eviction notices for 65 buildings constructed using forged RERA certificates. Despite 38 applications for regularization, all were rejected. Shiv Sena (UBT ) leader Dipesh Mhatre met Minister Ganesh Naik at the Janata Darbar, urging him to intervene and stop the evictions. Mhatre accused KDMC officials, the registration office, and local political leaders of being responsible for the scam while the real culprits remain protected.
