The text of the following statement was released by the Governments of the United States of America and Japan at the 11th United States-Japan Cyber Dialogue.

The United States hosted Japan for the 11th meeting of the U.S.-Japan Cyber Dialogue in Washington, D.C., on June 30 and July 1, 2026. The Department of State Bureau of Emerging Threats and the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs co-chaired for the United States, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Cybersecurity Office co-chaired for Japan. The U.S. delegation included participants from the White House National Security Council staff, the Office of the National Cyber Director, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of War, the Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Homeland Security, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the Federal Communications Commission. Representatives from the Government of Japan included the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Defense, the National Police Agency, and the Public Security Intelligence Agency.
The United States and Japan reaffirmed their shared commitment to addressing threats in cyberspace directly. Both sides deepened bilateral security cooperation in cyberspace and the enduring strength of the U.S.-Japan Alliance by committing to:
The United States and Japan committed to continued close coordination on cyber policy, operations, technical assistance, and working with the private sector, and will hold follow-on consultations to advance the priorities identified during the 11th U.S.-Japan Cyber Dialogue.
