Instagram Finfluencers Bishal Phukan & Sapnanil Das Arrested in Assam | Fake Finfluencers Ep – 20

Why did this happen to me? What did I do wrong? All I did was invest my capital—what was wrong with that? Why am I the one suffering?

Who is responsible for such scams?

Of course, people who invested their funds with the greed to earn huge returns. Because without demand there could be no supply. People show their interest in such schemes and that is the only reason that such scams are increasing day by day.

If people bother and consider understanding the regulations associated with investment then no one, literally no one could ever dare to run such investment schemes.

But unfortunately, this happened again and many people lost their hard-earned lifetime savings in an unauthorized and fake investment scheme.

Case 1: Bishal Phukan

This influencer who is just 22-years old, offered Guaranteed returns to its clients and in fact went through a written agreement process betweem himself and the investor. This agreement said that he will be providing an assured return of 24% within 60 working days to the investor.

A complete assurity, something out of line from the SEBI regulations.

He did such an agreement with 100+ investors like that.

Case 2: Sapnanil Das, another instagram and youtube influencer with 50k+ follower base in each of these social media platforms who teaches Stock market but seems to have started with unregistered advisory as well.

As of now, both have been detailed by the Assam police and in fact, CM of Assam has also issued a statement in this context.
