How corruption is destroying our economy and lives! | Cracknomics Ep 37

Corruption creates an unequal playing field—those who can afford bribes thrive, while hardworking individuals and small businesses suffer. Essential public funds meant for infrastructure, healthcare, and education are siphoned off, leaving citizens to deal with pothole-ridden roads, underfunded hospitals, and broken public services.
Moreover, India’s weak accountability mechanisms further fuel corruption. Amendments to the Right to Information (RTI) Act and the new Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act now limit access to critical public information. This makes it nearly impossible to scrutinize government appointments, corporate loan defaulters, and corruption cases involving bureaucrats.
Meanwhile, large-scale scams and corporate frauds continue unchecked. Political and business elites, including figures like Adani, operate with impunity, facing little to no legal consequences, while citizens who speak up risk persecution. We explore in #Cracknomics this week.
