The Ahmedabad Crime Branch has arrested 8 individuals for creating fraudulent Ayushman Bharat health cards, uncovering a possible nationwide scam linked to the PM-Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY). The fraud came to light after the deaths of two patients at Khyati Multispeciality Hospital in November, leading to an investigation that revealed tampered patient records during a health camp in Borisana, Kadi.
