Former Illinois House Speaker FOUND GUILTY on 10 Counts in Corruption Trial



Former Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan was found guilty on 10 counts, including bribery conspiracy and wire fraud, but acquitted on seven other charges in a significant political corruption case. The trial, which spanned four months, exposed a long-running scheme where Madigan allegedly used his position to secure jobs and contracts for allies in exchange for legislative favors.
