FBI Crackdown! Pakistani-Origin Owners, Staff, and Corrupt Police Officers Involved in Illegal Gambling in Houston Arrested!

Report: Raja Zahid Akhtar Khanzada

Houston, Texas – The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) conducted large-scale raids in Houston and Harris County today, leading to the arrest of nearly eight individuals, including the Pakistani-origin owner of an illegal gambling network and his staff, as well as two police officers. The FBI also raided the residence of the Pakistani-origin gambling kingpin, while nearby residents recorded videos of the operation, further confirming the crackdown. During the operation, a vast corruption network was exposed, revealing a nexus between illegal game room operators and certain law enforcement officials involved in bribery and illicit activities.

According to investigations, over 20 illegal game rooms were operating across Houston and Harris County, generating millions of dollars through unlawful gambling activities. These game rooms were allegedly protected by certain government officials, allowing the illegal business to thrive for an extended period.

Sources indicate that hefty bribes were regularly paid to ensure these illegal businesses remained shielded from law enforcement actions. Additionally, the operators allegedly used police officers to pressure and shut down their competitors. It is suspected that high-ranking officials within the Houston police force were bribed to facilitate these operations. Due to the gravity of the case, it was handed over to the FBI, which, after extensive investigations, carried out today’s operation.

There are reportedly hundreds of locations where these game rooms are operating, some of which include:

Further investigations have revealed that several individuals involved in managing these operations have prior criminal records. They have been linked to various offenses, including illegal financial transactions, sexual misconduct with a minor, and other criminal activities.

It was also discovered that social media platforms were being used to promote this gambling network. Various online groups and pages actively advertised these game rooms to attract more individuals to the business. Among the platforms used for promotion were online groups and pages such as Cici Baytown and Cici Chinatown, where the gambling operations were publicized.

This scandal has become a major challenge for both local and federal law enforcement agencies, as it involves not only illegal gambling and money laundering but also alleged corruption among some officials. If these allegations are fully substantiated through further investigations, severe legal action is expected against the responsible individuals.

This case could serve as a turning point in efforts to eradicate corruption in Houston and Harris County, ensuring the supremacy of law. The public hopes that all those involved in this scandal will be brought to justice and that the rule of law will be upheld.
