Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday detained former state minister B Nagendra in a money laundering case related to alleged irregularities in the Karnataka Maharishi Valmiki Scheduled Tribe Development Corporation Limited. Official sources related to the case said that the Congress leader has been brought to the ED office from his residence for questioning. B Nagendra was in charge of the Ministry of Scheduled Tribe Welfare. He resigned on June 6 after the allegations were made.
