Deputy Secretary Landau’s Travel to Algeria and Morocco
Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau will travel to Algeria and Morocco April 27 – May 1. In Algeria, the Deputy Secretary will meet with Algerian officials to discuss the deepening bilateral relationship, including shared efforts to address regional security issues and impactful commercial deals with U.S. companies. The Deputy Secretary will then travel to Morocco, where he will engage with government officials and business leaders on the advancement of technological and space coordination and the longstanding security cooperation relationship. This visit underscores U.S. commitment to supporting regional stability and expanding economic and strategic partnerships across North Africa.
