Deputy Secretary Landau’s Meeting with Paraguayan Foreign Minister Ramírez

Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau met today with Paraguayan Minister of Foreign Affairs Rubén Ramírez Lezcano to discuss deepening the strong U.S.-Paraguay relationship.  The two countries are working together on shared priorities, including economic cooperation, security, and illegal immigration.  Deputy Secretary Landau, who lived in Paraguay for five years while growing up, emphasized the value of enhancing commercial ties and promoting bilateral investment.
