Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau met with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet today in Washington, D.C. on the margins of the Board of Peace meeting. Deputy Secretary Landau and Prime Minister Manet commended the growing U.S.-Cambodia bilateral partnership and discussed a range of topics, including the Cambodia-Thailand border, combatting online scam operations that target American citizens, defense and security cooperation, as well as trade and investment opportunities. Deputy Secretary Landau expressed appreciation for Prime Minister Manet’s decision to join the Board of Peace as a founding member and contribute to the international community’s efforts to promote peace in Gaza and elsewhere.
