Deputy Secretary Landau’s Meeting with Argentine Foreign Minister Werthein

Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau met today with Argentine Minister of Foreign Affairs Gerardo Werthein in Washington, D.C. Deputy Secretary Landau thanked the Foreign Minister for Argentina’s strategic alignment to strengthen the Western Hemisphere. Deputy Secretary Landau and Foreign Minister Werthein also discussed ongoing efforts to mitigate threats to Argentina’s critical infrastructure. Deputy Secretary Landau commended Argentina for supporting the United States in achieving President Trump’s goal of peace through strength on the global stage.
