Deputy Secretary Landau’s Meeting with Argentine Foreign Minister Quirno

Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau met with Argentine Minister of Foreign Affairs Pablo Quirno on the margins of the Critical Minerals Ministerial to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation.  Deputy Secretary Landau highlighted the strategic importance of U.S.-Argentina collaboration in this sector and reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to deepening economic, investment, and energy ties. 

The Deputy Secretary commended Argentina’s leadership and its shared commitment to promoting international security and stability.
