दिल्ली पुलिस की विजिलेंस ब्रांच ने एक दिल्ली पुलिस के एएसआई को रिश्वत लेते हुए पकड़ा है। मॉडल टाउन थाने में तैनात एएसआई सुदेश को 2,00,000 रुपये की रिश्वत लेते गिरफ्तार किया है।
इस मामले में मॉडल टाउन थाने के थानाध्यक्ष पवन मीणा की भी भूमिका सामने आ रही है। हालांकि, जिला पुलिस अधिकारियों का कहना है कि थानाध्यक्ष पवन मीणा कल यानि सोमवार को दोपहर बाद परमिशन लेकर छुट्टी पर गए थे।

दिल्ली पुलिस के एक अधिकारी ने बताया कि इलाके में रहने वाले दिल्ली पुलिस के 68 भर्ती है। रिटायर इंस्पेक्टर अपने घर की मरम्मत करवा रहे थे। मरम्मत कराने की एवज में 8 लाख रुपये की मांग की जा रही थी।

थानाध्यक्ष ने विशेष डिस्काउंट देते हुए रकम को आधा कर दिया था। इस रकम को एएसआई जब लेने पहुंचा तो विजिलेंस ब्रांच ने उसे रंगे हाथ गिरफ्तार कर लिया। उत्तर पश्चिम जिला डीसीपी भीष्म सिंह ने घटना की पुष्टि की है। उधर, एडिश्नल सीपी असलम खान के मुताबिक, जांच जारी है।

The vigilance branch of Delhi Police has caught a Delhi Police ASI taking bribe. ASI Sudesh posted at Model Town police station has been arrested while taking a bribe of Rs 2,00,000.

The role of Model Town police station SHO Pawan Meena is also coming to light in this case. However, district police officials say that SHO Pawan Meena had gone on leave yesterday i.e. on Monday afternoon after taking permission.

A Delhi Police official said that there are 68 Delhi Police recruits living in the area. The retired inspector was getting his house repaired. Rs 8 lakh was being demanded in lieu of getting the repair done.

The SHO had halved the amount by giving a special discount. When the ASI came to collect this amount, the vigilance branch arrested him red handed. North West District DCP Bhishma Singh has confirmed the incident. On the other hand, according to Additional CP Aslam Khan, the investigation is going on.
