The Delhi High Court Chief Justice has submitted a detailed report to the Chief Justice of India regarding cash recovered from Justice Yashwant Varma’s house during a fire incident. The Supreme Court Collegium is examining the report. A proposal for Justice Varma’s transfer to Allahabad High Court is under consideration, separate from the in-house inquiry procedure. The Supreme Court has communicated that responses from concerned parties will be considered before any resolution on the transfer is passed.
